A bit about Becky…

Here’s me sharing the end of a bad date story.

I’ll save that for another blog post.

Hello, hello, hello! I am thrilled to meet you guys. I’m Becky — I’m 37 and live in the most charming little home in Glenville, NY - just outside of Schenectady - with my adorable and trusted furball companion, Izzie and a pond full of some crazy koi fish named mostly after characters from The Little Mermaid.

Like most of you who are reading this, my single story has seen plenty of ups and downs on the way to my current relationship. There’s been great dates and terrible ones, beautiful memories and plenty I’d like to forget. But, the good news is, I’m happy, healthy and enjoying the present while REALLY looking forward to helping all of you on your own journey to loving yourself and finding your person.

Gabby and launched this project starting with Singles Events to try help everyone find some connection to make new single friends and potentially meet a match or two. With the overwhelming response to the concept of getting off the apps and into “IRL” dating situations - we have only been able to grow our services and spread more love!

By day, I work in community relations for a wonderful organization and outside of work and Micropolitan Matchmakers, I love yoga, running, reading and spending time with my favorite people and furballs. I’ve also recently caught the travel bug and am always planning my next trip.

I love the #518 - growing up in Schenectady, I’ve long loved so much about where I live. The food, the entertainment, the natural beauty…it seems like there are always fun new things to explore and do. Keep in touch with us and share some places and spaces you might like to explore at a future #MICROMATCH event.

There is so much more where this is coming from - I hope you’ll follow along for stories, advice, tips and more. We are so pumped to build this community locally, regionally and eventually…WORLDWIDE DOMINATION.

Stay tuned!
