Hearts in Action: Make a Difference Volunteering at the Northeast Regional Food Bank
Join the Micropolitan Matchmakers community for a meaningful morning of volunteering at the Northeast Regional Food Bank in the Capital Region! This in-person event offers a fantastic opportunity to give back to our local community. You'll help with essential tasks like packing boxes and sorting donations, directly contributing to those in need. All proceeds from the $5 ticket price will be donated directly to the Northeast Regional Food Bank. Whether you're an experienced volunteer or new to lending a hand, your support is greatly appreciated. Limited spots available (14 people).

Tools to Foster Connection: We recently incorporated the use of an event platform to help you keep the conversation going! Event attendees are invited to use our new platform - Speed Match - to keep the conversation going with people you want to connect with post-event. Speed Match does ask you to create a profile - but unlike dating apps, this profile is only shown to others who attend the same event as you. And, for an added security layer, BOTH people need to select each other in the platform within 24 hours of the end of the event to open up the chat feature.
